S2W is a sensor data collection and transmission application that enables the connection between various device sensors and web-based platforms. The app collects, processes, and transmits sensor data according to your configuration and preferences.
Important: By using S2W, you acknowledge that the app requires access to various device sensors and permissions to function properly. These permissions are essential for the core functionality of the application.
User Responsibilities

- You should not use the app for illegal or unauthorized purposes
- You must ensure you have the right to collect and transmit any data you process through S2W
App Permissions & Usage
S2W requires the following permissions to function properly. Below is a detailed explanation of why each permission is needed:
Location Access
ACCESS_FINE_LOCATION, ACCESS_COARSE_LOCATION
Purpose: To enable location-based sensor data collection and geotagging of collected information.
Camera & Media
CAMERA, VIDEO_CAPTURE, AUDIO_CAPTURE, RECORD_AUDIO
Purpose: To capture visual and audio data through device sensors for processing and transmission.
Network & Connectivity
INTERNET, ACCESS_WIFI_STATE, CHANGE_NETWORK_STATE
Purpose: To transmit sensor data to web services and manage network connections for reliable data transfer.
Bluetooth & Proximity
BLUETOOTH_SCAN, BLUETOOTH_CONNECT, NEARBY_WIFI_DEVICES
Purpose: To connect with nearby devices and sensors for expanded data collection capabilities.
Storage Access
WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE
Purpose: To temporarily store sensor data before transmission and cache configuration files.
Notifications
POST_NOTIFICATIONS
Purpose: To notify you about data transmission status, sensor alerts, and app updates.
Note: S2W only uses these permissions when actively collecting and transmitting sensor data. You can control most permissions through your device settings, though limiting permissions may affect app functionality.
Privacy & Data Handling
S2W is designed with privacy in mind. Our data handling practices include:
Data Collection
We collect only the sensor data you explicitly configure the app to collect. This may include:
- Location data (GPS coordinates)
- Visual data (images/video from camera)
- Audio data (from microphone)
- Environmental sensor data
- Device connectivity information
Data Transmission
Collected data is transmitted to the web endpoints you configure. We use secure transmission protocols and encryption where possible to protect your data during transfer.
Data Storage
S2W may temporarily store data on your device before transmission. This data is typically removed after successful transmission. We do not permanently store your sensor data on our servers unless you configure the app to do so.
Third-Party Services
If you configure S2W to transmit data to third-party services, their privacy policies and data handling practices will apply to data received by those services.
